For the price, the build quality of the product is good. Its lightweight and compact. However, it's not fully compatible with Android phones. It will throw glitch while using Zhiyun app with Android devices. Can use Android phone camera app manually. But it's not handy. I have one plus 10Pro, and the product doesn't work/compatible with it. So had to return it.

This is for sure one of those things that is extremely difficult to understand at the beginning, but with continued practice becomes easier. For some reason I thought it would be a piece of cake, but that was not my experience.I've had it for about 3 months now, and still feel like a beginner...maybe intermediate beginner. I actually find that the app it comes with makes it a bit harder to use! But without the app, it's just a free for all and leaves me frustrated. However I will say when I get a good shot, WHEW, looks professionally done. The thing I find most frustrating is when the stabilizer locks into one direction and doesn't allow me to move around it. So hard to explain until you have this in your hand. I understand that I may just be on the wrong mode for what I'm trying to accomplish, but what if I want one steady shot that pans, rises, goes around subject, and then low. It feels like I need to be on a completely different setting for all of those?! Still working on it! But I've seen several pros on Youtube with this exact model and they have feature film-worthy shots with this. It's possible, but a learning curve for sure.In short, it's a fantastic stabilizer, but is taking me more time than I would like to perfect my shooting. But I'm confident in my future with this.I will also add that the camera app absolutely DRAINS my iPhone. I've had my iPhone for about 3 years...which doesn't feel like it's my phone's fault entirely. But sheesh. I went from 100% to 40% in about an hour and a half using the app this comes with. My phone also became scalding hot due to the use. Something to consider!

Ever since I replaced my broken dji with the Q4 I've started keeping it in a small pouch that I keep my action cameras in. This gimbal is about an inch taller and wider than my Pixel 6 Pro when its folded so its super portable but not quite pocket sized.One of the unsung heroes of the Q4 is the 1/4 20 thread on the base of the unit. While you can certainly use the included mini tripod/stand/handle (Standle?), that 1/4 20 thread along with the remote capabilities of the Zhyiun ZY Play app allows you to really experiment with your production.I really enjoyed how lightweight, yet full featured it is. The Joystick made me feel like i could always make adjustments as needed. It's a comforting feature that makes The Smooth Q4 easy to pick up even for novices. It supported the weight of my Pixel 6 Pro just fine even when fully extended.One word of caution. If you use additional lenses, counter weights, ND filters, or the like the motor may struggle with the additional weight.

This gimbal works well, holds my Oneplus 9Pro phone securely and the video it takes is very smooth in auto mode. I have yet to figure out the additional modes but it balances the phone well. It isn't immediately apparent, but to get it to work, you need to mount the phone in it before turning it on. Once you do it immediately balances the phone and you're ready to record. The Bluetooth connection works well once you download the app and select your model of gimbal. Mine was not currently in the app but I selected "other gimbal" and it paired quickly. The video controls are extensive and I have yet to figure them all out but everything I have used works excellently and you see the gimbal in action constantly keeping your phone smooth and steady. The battery lasts over 10 hours and the included tripod is a nice touch. Looking forward to making many high quality videos with this gimbal.

Good gimbal for your phone. Mechanically everything worked perfectly. I had a little trouble with the app but got it figured out. Perfect for making great videos and fit my phone even with a case on it.

I��ve been using the ZHIYUN Smooth Q4 for the last three years, and it has held up exceptionally well. It performs reliably in both summer heat and rainy conditions, with smooth stabilization for all my vlogging and video needs. Sturdy, portable, and consistently dependable �� highly recommended.

La ruleta del zoom tambi��n tiene una buena ubicaci��n para un manejo completo con una sola mano.Evidentemente necesita un tiempo de aprendizaje y familiarizaci��n con los diferentes modos y los movimientos que permiten cada uno de ellos y c��mo utilizarlos, para lo cu��l hay infinidad de v��deos y tutoriales en internet (aunque no estar��a de m��s que los propios fabricantes hicieran sus propios tutoriales dedicados de cada uno de los modos ya que hay ciertas diferencias entre modelos).Que adem��s sea extensible permite su uso como un selfie stick tradicional sin necesidad de utilizar adaptadores y lo convierte en una herramienta mucho m��s vers��til, adem��s de permitir ciertos movimientos de grabaci��n de v��deo muy interesantes (fly through, fake dron o la combinaci��n de ambos).En cuanto a las compatibilidades y resultando imposible una compatibilidad del 100% con todos los dispositivos que existen en el mercado, encuentro que con mi Mi 8 Pro es m��s que suficiente y no veo un inconveniente en realizar algunas configuraciones manualmente antes de las grabaciones ya que los v��deos se editan a posteriori.No obstante, creo que la compatibilidad con las c��maras nativas s�� que deber��a ser un objetivo en cuanto a los desarrollos de software de todos los fabricantes.Y en cuanto a la velocidad de los motores me ha sorprendido gratamente por la suavidad en el inicio y frenado haciendo que los v��deos sean fluidos y no presentes movimientos bruscos.Tanto para evolucionar desde un gimbal de 1 �� 2 ejes como para iniciarse en este mundo, encuentro que el Smooth Q4 es la herramienta perfecta.?Muy recomendable!

Sono rimasto davvero colpito dallo Smooth Q4. Fin dal primo contatto si capisce che �� un prodotto molto ben fatto e curato nei dettagli. La costruzione �� solida e i materiali utilizzati danno una sensazione di qualit�� e robustezza in mano, ben lontana dalle "plasticacce" che a volte si trovano su fasce di prezzo molto simili. �� anche molto pratico nell'uso quotidiano.Non sar�� forse il gimbal pi�� economico sul mercato(comunque non �� caro), ma il prezzo �� assolutamente giustificato e, secondo me, li vale tutti fino all'ultimo centesimo.L'ho acquistato principalmente per usarlo con il mio smartphone un po' datato, che pur avendo una buona fotocamera, manca di stabilizzazione integrata. Con lo Smooth Q4 i risultati sono incredibili: i video vengono perfettamente fluidi, senza scatti. A nice item for vacations

They responded to my problem immediatly and followed up after 24 hours of my not getting back to them. This was the best support experiance I've ever had.I've had a ZHIYUN Smooth Q since August of 2017 and have loved it. My only complaint was that when I shot in "Wide Angle" it was dificult to keep the servo arm out of the picturs. This new Q4 is terrific and I'll ba a customer of ZHIYUN for a long time.Turns out the problem was my mistake, not a faulty product.A shout out to Yilia, my troubleshooter. She is terrific and was on top of my problem. Many thanks to her for her help.

Having never used one before, there is a learning curve. I had to do quite a bit of searching to find videos that would walk me through how to use it in a way that I could understand, but once you get the hang of it, it��s very nice.

I wanted this Item for my vacations trip, It was help to me a lot with my videos and photos, the selfie stick and tripod helped me a lot.

This is excellent but the pan movement is a bit sensitive and I still have to take my phone out of it's case to use it or it falls out easily...

I'm loving the smoothness of it! Very stable movements and it's easy to learn and get the hang of. I love the movement cursor, too. I recommend this to anyone wanting a top shelf gimbal! Pretty to look at, too.

I am new at using a Gimbal and also at videography ... experienced and competent amateur still photographer. So, take my comments with my minimal experience in mind! I have a Crane M2 which I have struggled with (FAR beyond my current capability), a DJI OM4 which I struggled less with but disliked the magnets and app. So, Smooth Q4 - easy to use, handles my iPhone 12 Pro Max (without case) ... it will attach fine with case but seems to struggle with that last bit of weight. I am still very much learning, but finding this gimbal a good match for me.
