This is a product line that I truly love for its versatility, power and compact nature. Color Correct with an acceptable fan noise level and the bowens mount to make
it work with such a wide range of accessories that I have or would want in the future. I started with one as it looked to good to be true and I saw mixed reviews on
fan noise for video use but those issues are no longer. Their very well communicating customer service department informed me the fan noise is now better controlled with
a firmware update and from my own experience it is comparable or better than competing units that carry a far higher price point I own. I have since expanded my purchase to
a 4 units and quickly put together a 4 light kits that gets used constantly. I shoot about 15 days a month and they have stood the test of in and out of the grip truck. I cringed
when a less than perfect PA knocked one over on a C Stand 7 feet in the air coming down with a crash that I assumed was going to be buying a new one. It is still working
just fine to my amazement. Though I would not recommend that to others but it did shock me that it still worked. The phone app works pretty well too to dial things in when
everything is up on the air especially to get that hair light just right.
I really really hope this company continues to expand this line and put out a 1k or 1200W version and more for those purposes I still pull out my HMI's.
I am seldom writing something like this but the product line deserves it and makes my working life just a bit easier and I appreciate that on the daily.
