Its super easy to handle. Feel is really premium. This is my second gimbal from zhiyun, already had smooth Q2. Q2 had a shortcoming with wide angle camera captures which has been addressed really well in Q3. Easy to balance and almost ready to go. I really like the placement of functional buttons on the gimbal, they are placed at really comfortable positions and help use it with utmost ease. Battery life is really good. Definitely a keeper.

The product is of excellent quality, very well packaged. There are all instructions in the box, there were no problems with use. I was able to shoot some great videos with the stabilizer. Thank you!

I have 4 gimbles. The Smooth Q3 is one of my best. The gimble is so easy to use and compact. I love the built in light for recording at night.

One of the most efficient and very high responsive Gimbal. Smooth Q3 is really cool, small and easily fits to travel case. Really cool features very nice app. Many features in app , may it be editing or recording or grid setting tons of features loved it. Way far better then any gimbal available. Really good 3 axis stabilization.I have explored this gimbal for many days now no regret. It holds good battery charge, easy to carry

It was exactly what I wanted, I bought it based on a recommendation and the product is really excellent.

Works well with iPhone 12 pro. Doesn��t have any issues with weight of phone and case like other gimbals. Changing modes right on gimbal instead of app is a game changer!

This is my first gimbal. It is very easy to learn and has such cool features. I love making videos of my dog and now i can get those running shots. Love this thing can��t wait to film while traveling.

The Q3 is *so* close to being an incredibly solid value. The build quality is as expected for the price, it��s nice and lightweight despite that, and the controls are all very well thought out. The issue that kills this one for me is the inability to do a proper jib shot. The pitch motor has the range of motion necessary, but has wacky software limits that cause the camera to end up upside down and then flip backwards when you lower the gimbal below the horizon. You can halfway fake it by using the roll axis, but you can��t go much farther than holding the gimbal rolled about 15deg below the horizon before the forward arm is in view of the camera.In essence, the range of motion of the pitch axis in particular is severely software limited, making it impossible to transition between underslung and overhand orientations in a single smooth shot (the camera rolls 180deg in the middle of such a shot).

If you're only using it with the phone and no accessories attached to the phone, you can use this up to an iPhone max (if carefully balanced.However, the locknut that you should be able to use on the extendible gimbal arm doesn't work. I liked the gimbal enough to order a second one and return the first, but the second one I just received, also won't lock. The arm slides up and down easily regardless of whether you have the lock nut firmly tightened or not. The gimbal arm does stay in place, as it clicks into place so I could use and test it out, but I don't feel comfortable using it without being able to lock the extendible arm in place, so, unfortunately, returning the second one rather than replacing.Even so, I'm trying the Smooth 5, because after testing with the Q3, I decided that a heavier duty gimbal was better for my needs as I intend to add some accessories to my phone. I was planning on sending the Q3 to my daughter for her use, but now it's just going to be returned. Must be a simple quality control problem with the current batch as I cannot find anyone else with this issue.

This thing works beautifully. Using their app may or may not be useful to you, but it also comes in handy. The stabilization this gives for my mobile phone is great.It works well with my Samsung Galaxy S9+, S10+, and Note10 Plus. But, unfortunately my Note20 Ultra is too large. Other than that, it's wonderful and now I'm getting the gamble for my DSLR next!

Product visual 9/10The gimbal has a very solid construction that is very sleek and feels like a small form factor. This can be a very difficult device to use for those who do not have experience with a gimble so the product should have a minimalist layout that makes it simple and intuitive to use, which your product has. The USB-C connection is a great feature that should be standardized in all serviceable devices, it shows consumers that manufacturers have incorporated the USB-C in their product designs very recently.Usability 8/10It took a few tries to get the gimbal to stabilize properly but that was due to my improperly setting up the gimbal before powering it on. Here is a pro tip that I didn't know but you have to fully extend the "arm" when you use it because it has connection pins that must make contact in order for the gimbal to work. Once it's connected, you turn it on and it starts immediately working. You have 4 stabilization modes to choose from and what I actually like about this unit is that it has a "selfie" mode that has a selfie light. Very nice touch.ConclusionI really enjoyed the product design of this gimble, it feels sturdy and it has a minimal amount of buttons that does not make the device confusing to the user but it has a few downfalls. The selfie light is also a really good idea for those that may do vlogging or facetime with callers in a dark area. The app that is provided frustrated me the most just because of its design and layout, other than that you can honestly use the gimbal without having to use the app. The app just allows more customization of the gimbal. Overall, it does what it's meant to do and it does good. Once I use this a bit more in-depth, I will update this review accordingly.

I love it! Didn��t know what to expect. Reviews were good, and they��re not mistaken, at all! Works really great, filming with it is simple and very straightforward. Excellent results for a product in this price range.

This is my first time purchasing a gimbal and I love it. It took me awhile to get used to all the controls but once you learn it, it becomes easy. I attached a video I filmed using the gimbal. It is the time lapse feature. Overall I would recommend this product. I am looking forward to taking this on my trip in a couple weeks.
