ZHIYUN MOLUS G200 | 200W Professional Portable COB LED Video Light

Very nice light. Good color rendition, nice and bright. A few things...The suitcase is very nice but a waste. There is no way to re-use it because of the molded inside. If you don't carry the standard reflector the suitcase is worthless. Such a shame. It would have been a great multi purpose case if the inside was a bit more manageable. Same thing as with the gimbals.If you take the light without reflector the case could have been 50% smaller.Second thing, the power cord. It's made from some ultra cheap hard plastic material. I'm looking for a softer, more rubbery replacement.Good things? Yes! There are plenty. The light is ultra small en feels good for the price. In rental it will break in two weeks but for my own studio this is sturdy enough. Fan noise is good, not loud. At turbo 300W mode the fan is 2x as loud though. Not suited for some close to mics recordings without ai hum removal. The light worked for an hour in turbo mode and I found no problems in two shoots I did with it.No regrets. Will buy a second one when the price drops a bit.

WOW! This compact lights are a must have for anyone traveling a lot or even for your studio.I am a photographer and videographer for a big corporation and I��m constantly traveling all over the states and sometimes international I was looking for a compact light but powerful enough to help me with my productions when filming podcast talking head videos, interviews or even sometimes taking photos on location and this lights delivers absolutely everything I was hoping. I��ve been using them for a few weeks now and I can��t really speak about the durability, but I can honestly say they are pretty tough super easy to mount and put together and the color It��s very accurate.The light split into two small sections, which is pretty easy for traveling. You could just pack them up in your bag as a carry-on or as a check-in.Color option for me was the bi-color and it��s pretty amazing.Functionality for this lights is super easy, even my 5 year old son can understand it. Just 3 button, turn on, bi-color knob and power up or down knob.

Je viens de recevoir et commander la nouvelle lampe "ZHIYUN Molus G200"franchement un produit plut?t cool pour l'��clairage vid��o ! Je viens tout juste de mettre la main dessus et je suis tout simplement surpris (en bien) par ses performances. On a tester le produit au Studio avec des amis vid��aste pour voir ce qu'elle a dans le ventre.Tout d'abord, parlons du design. Ils ont fait fort !!!! Avec cette s��paration entre le corps de la lampe et le contr?leur. au debut c'est bizzare mais en faite c'est plut?t pratique. C'est hyper innovant et ?a se fond parfaitement dans n'importe quel setup d'��clairage. On sent tout de suite que cette lumi��re est con?ue pour les cr��atifs qui en veulent plus apr��s plusieurs d��bat et essaies avec d'autre vid��aste de mon entourage.Mais ce que je trouve cool c'est le syst��me de refroidissement. Une lumi��re vid��o de 200W avec un syst��me de refroidissement efficace. Ils ont mis un dissipateur thermique et un ventilateur, un peu comme Ventigrade que l'on trouve sur nos PC. le r��sultat est juste bluffant. La lumi��re reste puissante tout en ��tant l��g��re et lumineuse, c'est un combo gagnant.Le mode Extr��me 300W, c'est l�� o�� ?a devient fou. Une seule pression et ca fait bam bim boum ! (oups pardons, je m'emporte...) , vous avez une puissance de 300W qui vous en met plein la tronche. ?a ouvre tout un monde de possibilit��s cr��atives, surtout pour des prises de vue ambitieuses.La gradation transparente est aussi un belle atout. Le r��glage du CCT et du DMI est d'une simplicit�� enfantine, avec cinq pr��r��glages pour jouer avec la temp��rature de couleur et la luminosit��. Et parlons de la port��e : entre 2700K et 6500K, avec une luminosit�� pouvant atteindre 85800 lux �� 300W. Le tout pour une qualit�� d'��clairage au top. j'ai clairement pas les moyen pour un lampe a millier d'euro et la vraiment on a un bon rapport qualit�� prix. ca fait m��me pas cher pour ce que cela propose.j'ai oubli�� le cot�� "compacte" tellement pratique pour deplacer, bouger, partir en tournage et ranger le bidule ^^ Un gros plus !L'application ZY Vega permet de graduer et changer les pr��r��glages �� distance, c'est une b��n��diction pour les tournages et les studios. Je peux dire adieu aux tracas d'ajustement manuel et bonjour �� l'ergonomie avec son tel :)Bref, la lumi��re ZHIYUN Molus G200 est mon nouvel assistant personnel d'��clairage. Si vous voulez une qualit�� pro sans prise de t��te, c'est LE choix �� faire. un gros GG �� ZHIYUN pour cette lampe !J'ai hate de voir les merveilles que cette lumi��re va ajouter �� mon prochain projets. Great versatile lighting kit. Have it used it for a couple of shoots, and it performed better than expected. Event shoot had a step-and-repeat, and I didn't think it would be nearly powerful enough. But, nope - put out more power than I needed. The photographer from the next room came over to ask me about it, and I carried the whole gear load on the subway. Really impressive unit.

First impressions of this light: it's extremely solid and very well built, and it's also really powerful. We bought it as a fill light for live-streaming and it does its job remarkably well even at just half power. It's too powerful for my office/home podcast studio at over 10% brightness. So you can be pretty sure that this device is going to have enough capacity for whatever video or photographic work you need lighting for. Although it's solid, it's not heavy - splitting the power supply from the light itself perhaps helps. And it comes in an equally nicely made custom-fit case which holds everything together and should keep everything safe in transit. I've already highlighted how powerful it is - we're talking seriously bright - but the colour temperature is variable too and there's a decent range here as well. The cold white looks ice-cold but the warmer hues have a gentle sunset tinge without becoming too gold or orange in tone. It��s quick and easy to put together and dismantle and connects to a standard lighting stand (not included but most people who need this light will surely have one or two hanging around). It��s also really easy to control, with an on-off and dials for colour temperature and brightness on the power supply (which comes with a thick rubber hook to clip to a stand), but also with app control. I��ve shown some of these features in the video here �C please note there��s no audio there. The app is great �C free to download and it worked straight away on my iPhone, finding the light via Bluetooth and connecting really quickly �C and control here is instant, with full adjustment of temperature, power and brightness and a few very handy presets which can be selected with a single tap �C I liked the daylight setting very much but I think you can create and save your own presets too. This is more of a light than some will need, but I can��t imagine too many people needing a better light than this, or indeed finding one �C it��s a thoroughly impressive device. I��ve tried to show as much of it in the photos and video clip as I can, because it isn��t cheap and people will want to know what they��re getting. But I do think it��s a great quality video light which will more than meet most requirements, last well and look good doing it.

I love the look and feel of this unbelievable compact but powerful light I have used it over the weekend to film a couple of videos for YouTube, it is an absolute power houses and couldn��t even hear the fan kick in.I have been using two Aputure 120 D and as one had given up the ghost I went for this one and I love it so much I am going to get another one when I need to replace my other 120D as I feel it is loads better and if you really need it there is a boost mode which knocks the socks off the rest of my other lights.On top of the sheer power of this little beast is its size It would got into my Camera bag really easily if needed even though it comes with a nice strong case itself so would be great for shooting out and about, unlike my other portable lights which need an adapter for a Bowens mounts this has a full size Bowens mount all of my existing domes and lanterns will fit perfectly.I am not sure what the body and casing is made of but it feels like good quality and the app works really well if you want to have that flexibility.The LCD readout works great and the controls are simple to use, on the power brick there is a rubber strap to hang it on a light stand if needed.I would definitely recommend this to anyone, it does a great job is less expensive than other similar powered lights and it is compact and easy to cart around with you, if there was one thing I would have liked to have seen is the ability to run it with a V-Mount battery of some sort so maybe Zhiyun will come up with a solution and as I said I will be looking to buy at least one more in the near future.

Very happy with the performance of the Molus G200🙏🏼Super lightweight but powerful, (200w with a max power option of 300w which I don’t think any other light does that with this price range), very easy to assemble, it’s small and compact for any situation.I was looking at others as Small Rig, Amaran, Neewer, Nanlite, etc. But I’m really happy I went for this one due it’s size, power, price, bicolor, also I like that the light control it’s separate from the head, and you can also control it with an app, it comes with its own bag, and easy to carry anywhere.I will definitely get more, and even upgrade with the G300!

I did a quick photoshoot using this as a fill light and it is amazing.1. Light, small and compact on set it takes up very small realestate and when traveling it all fits into the case that comes with it. Very convenient.2. Its Powerful not only does it do 200watts but it can also output 300ws at maximum. Thats insane for such a small body.3. Bluetooth functionality this was the easiest and fastest thing to do.4. The controller as an extra cooling system and seperate from the light actually makes so much sense. When I raised the light up very high if the power button was on the light it definitely would of been time consuming to keep lowering it to turn it off/on.5. Last but not least this light is great for film and photos i can get some great sharp looks due to the power of this light.A few tips1. When putting the reflector on tilt up and in then turn.2. Connect to Bluetooth (it's a must for true conveniency)3. For full portability get a portable power station to take this every and anywhere.4. Forgot to add this but anyone doing Photoshoots, films or even vlogging definitely get a softbox to get skin tones really smooth. I hope this helps those in need of insight.
