I'm very happy with this light, I use it every time I film an audition. I use it as my main heavy light and I bounce it off my white wall and then I have another zhiyun light (this one has a built in battery) on the other side of the camera. This can get really bright (it's 60w) but it only goes up to 6500K (I have other lights that can go higher/cooler) so it depends on what you'd use it for. I usually stick to 5600K indoors and match all my other lights to this one. It does have a built in fan/heatsink system which kicks in the longer you have the light on. I��ve left it on for hours at a time and haven��t had any overheating issues.It's my main audition light, I have it hooked on an ellgato mount on my desk and it's powered straight into the wall charger so I don't have to worry about it losing power during a take. I also mainly use the silicone diffuser to diffuse the light evenly against the wall. I've had this for almost two years now and it's still going strong, I'd recommend it.

This is a great little light. I wouldn't recommend it so much as a key light past a certain distance, but it gets the job done at closer distances. That being said, it does make a difference when shooting outdoors, just not where I'd say it shines super well. I've used it mainly as a key light for indoor projects where the camera is not so far away, and for a in car interview where we needed some extra light on the driver's face to make her stand out from the background. On talking heads, I usually have it at 20-50% power, and on this driving interview we had it on max output. Very please with the performance of it.The batteries seem to last about as long as advertised, which is plenty for most talking heads.

For such a small footprint, it has amazing power/light output.

This Zhiyun X60 Led Video Light is a very adequate - and powerful - light source. In arrived in a presentation type box together with a 240volt mains transformer, instructions and warranty card, a soft silicone light diffuser that can be either be concave or convex that is easily put into shape plus a small net type carry bag. The actual unit has a built-in fan that is whisper quiet in use. It has Bluetooth so can be paired to a smart phone to enhance its amazing array of features - although it did take a bit of messing about to get the app sorted, but once done makes it worth the effort. Oddly the mains power connector is situated close to the tripod/light stand bush �C see photos. As a stand-alone mains powered light, it is amazing with assorted light outputs although the tripod mounting bush seems a bit of a let down as to it's siting as pointed out, so you have to be careful when mounting it. The LCD status screen is slightly small so you do have to squint a bit to see it - possibly the trade off for it being a small, compact unit. With the optional battery pack, this would be both versatile and ideal to use on location in the outdoors etc. For such a small footprint, it has amazing power/light output.

Compacta, ligera y con grandes prestaciones.

Es la primera vez que utilizo un foco de la marca Zhiyum, y me llam�� la atenci��n por las buenas rese?as que hab��a le��do de sus productos. Me decid�� por este modelo, Molus X60 porque estaba interesado en probar una luz suave, m��s enfocada a retratos o videos cercanos, en este caso bicolor (luz fr��a y c��lida) y esto muy satisfecho con el producto y sus prestaciones, sobre todo teniendo en cuenta el peque?o tama?o que tiene. Es un foco muy ligero y vers��til, pero a la vez una gran fuente de luz. Es perfecto para viajes, entrevistas o peque?os rodajes, o para escenas m��s ��ntimas o cercanas.Lo primero que me llam�� la atenci��n es que es una luz robusta por los materiales que utiliza, pese a que parece peque?a. Y solo pesa 319 gramos. Es del tama?o de la palma de la mano. En el pack, adem��s del foco, hay una c��pula para difuminar, el adaptador de corriente con el cable y una bolsa, adem��s del libro de instrucciones.En cuanto a la calidad de la luz, en escenarios ��ntimos es muy cercana a equipos profesionales de alta gama, aunque siempre hay que tener en cuenta el rango en el que nos movemos. Es una luz semi-profesional, perfecta para peque?os rodajes o videos para YouTube (no hablamos de focos para rodajes de cine). La temperatura de luz se puede seleccionar en un rango entre 2700K y 6500K, el rango habitual de luz fr��a a c��lida.Tiene un CRI (color rendering index) superior a 95, lo que asegura una reproducci��n de color realista, obteniendo tonos naturales y un buen contraste a la vez, aunque realista.Algo que mejora considerablemente otras luces de mayor tama?o es que una vez cargada, no necesita cables para funcionar. Y por otro lado, si se desea, se puede conectar a la corriente y funcionar con ella sin problemas, o utilizar un banco de energ��a. Pero lo m��s pr��ctico, si no se va a utilizar muchas horas, es cargarla por completo (admite carga r��pida) y despreocuparse.En cuanto a el sobrecalentamiento, me sorprendi�� que no es notable. Tengo que probar otras luces de su serie de mayor potencia, pero en el caso de la de 60W, se mantiene sin sobrecalentarse.Aunque en mi caso no lo utilizo, tiene una aplicaci��n con la que puedes controlar la luz e incluso darle efectos, como de movimiento al ritmo de la m��sica. Imagino que es algo m��s pr��ctico en el caso de luces RGB, pero en esta tambi��n est�� disponible. Es posible que resulte mas c��modo modificar los par��metros con el m��vil mientras se ve el monitor, que yendo cada vez a cambiar la intensidad o la temperatura a la situaci��n donde se encuentra el foco.En definitiva, estoy muy contento con esta luz y espero seguir adquiriendo otras de la marca, de mayor potencia, porque es muy pr��ctica, ligera y vers��til, de buena calidad y con muchas posibilidades, por lo que me permito recomendarla y la valoro con 5 estrellas.Espero que esta rese?a te resulte ��til, as�� como las fotos y el video.

A Few Compromises Thanks To That Steampunk Sci Fi Look, But This Is Still An Effective Light System

This video lighting rig from ZHIYUN MOLUS is great for those needing a lighting system for photography or video making and maybe want one that could also be used as a prop on the other side of the camera :)First things,... those looks. I love the look of it, with the see-through plastic and clip on parts it's like some sort of a sci-fi, steampunk creation, that wouldn't look out of place in Fallout or Loki.The rear option screen, though clear white text on black, is on the small side and I had to keep taking my glasses off to read it (more to do with my age I think), but there is a wide range of adjustability in the lighting settings. These are all selected using the rotating and push-to-select, finger friendly dials which have good knurling to them.The light also features some preset "effects", (some more successful than others), that could be used for film making (disco, emergency services, TV set etc).Finally, there is the music mode where the light will respond to whatever music you have playing, making it a great party light. I found it works best when nearer the source of the music, but my young kids and I had a good dance party with it.The included carry case is great and fits all the components easily and it's an impressive set up, but there are a few small moans and concerns.Firstly the battery port on the body of the light is protected by a removable rubber flap but this isn't attached so you have to find somewhere safe to store it when using the light - a bit annoying and this will probably be the first thing to get lost.Secondly I am a bit concerned about my fingers getting too near the exposed heat sinks and I just have to be mindful about this. There are places to hold onto but as so much is exposed for the "look" of the light, prolonged use may make these areas rather hot to the touch. The integrated cooling fan is well protected though.Overall then I think this is a success for the ameteur/semi-professional photographer and filmmaker, with enough adjustability to get the lighting you would like, all in a setup that looks like it was made in Vault 33.

I have tried all sorts of video lights but spoiler alert, this is my new favourite.First of all, it's tiny. Yes it is a little plasticky but..... its tiny. And its bright. Really bright. They describe it as a fill light but you could use this as a key light if it's a small room.The light is super versatile- power via the included battery, via DC from the included power brick, or via USB-C from a power bank. With the detachable battery it has the form factor of a camera. It's quite cool.Functionally you have all the standards you expect - CCT, HSI, and Effects, including my favourite, music mode where the light syncs to the music.**Down sides**Nothing is perfect. Battery life could be better. Full power will almost get you an hour but luckily you can use DC as pass through power although that does slightly defeat the point of such a small portable unit.The big thing for me is the mount. It's a proprietary ZY mount from Zhiyun. I get why they did it - the body is too small for a bowens mount. They sell an adaptor but the adaptor costs almost ��40 which is..... a lot! They obviously don't include this in the box. I wanted a new light, but I didn't want a whole new ecosystem of soft boxes and other accessories. Now I have to pay ��40 extra for every Zhiyun light I buy. It makes their affordable lights less..... affordable..** Conclusion **Overall I love the light. It will go into my camera bag as a great portable option..... but I am still very upset at the lack of mount adaptor in the kit.
